The Kentucky Beef Network, LLC. (KBN) is a division of the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association that focuses on assisting beef cattle producers, improve animal health, genetics, forages, and marketing opportunities by enhancing producer profitability. All 32,000 cattlemen in Kentucky have the opportunity to benefit from programs and services offered through the KBN.
In 2001, KBN was created with the help of the University of Kentucky, Kentucky Department of Agriculture, Farm Bureau, Regional Universities, and County Organizations.
KBN is funded through the Kentucky Agriculture Development Fund and all programs are designed to help Kentucky farmers increase revenue on their farms through new management practices and concepts. KBN programs are both beneficial, informative and have allowed Kentucky beef producers to restructure some of their practices to make their operations more profitable.
