Master Grazer – Graze 300
This program focuses on how to improve grazing management practices to extend the grazing season to 300 days.
1. Kentucky Grazing School: A two-day intensive grazing school introduces key grazing concepts and provide hands-on learning opportunities. Classroom sessions and hands-on activities focus on increasing forage and livestock production, reducing feeding costs, and improving farm revenue.
2. Advanced Kentucky Grazing School: This one-day program is intended to complement the traditional grazing school and will introduce advanced managed grazing concepts. This program consists of in-depth grazing topics, latest research, tours, demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities.
3. UK Grazing News Newsletter: A newsletter containing timely informational articles on grazing management, forage production, and animal health is distributed throughout the grazing season. This publication also includes farm highlights, upcoming grazing events, and short overviews of recent events, research, and demonstrations.
