Kentucky Cattlemen's Association – Young Producer Council
YPC is a division of the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association for KCA members who are 20-40 years of age. YPC’s mission is to build a network of young farmers and business leaders whose interest is in the future success of the cattle industry. YPC members can also access networking opportunities, educational material, and career building opportunities. Four regional field days will be hosted throughout the state to demonstrate basic management practices, as well as visit unique and progressive operations. Nebraska Youth Beef Leadership Symposium
A partnership between the Kentucky Beef Network and the University of Nebraska- Lincoln (UNL) allows five Kentucky high school juniors or seniors to attend the Nebraska Youth Beef Leadership Symposium at the UNL campus. Through this program, students are exposed to multiple facets of the beef industry as well as leadership training through team-working, problem solving, and presentation basics.
